Dojo on your phone (PWA)

RevisionDojo is fully mobile-optimized and works great as a Progressive Web App (PWA). There is no official RevisionDojo app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store as of November 15, 2025. Install the web app to your home screen for a fast, full‑screen, app‑like experience—no downloads required. Step-by-step installation

Phone and iPad (Safari) 1) Open https://www.revisiondojo.com in Safari. 2) Tap the Share icon (square with up arrow). 3) Choose “Add to Home Screen.” 4) Optionally rename to “RevisionDojo,” then tap “Add.” 5) Launch from the new icon; sign in to sync your progress and unlock all subjects and tools. (Pricing plans explain free vs. Plus/Pro access.)

Notes for iOS/iPadOS:

• Use Safari for “Add to Home Screen.” Other iOS browsers rely on Safari’s WebKit and may not show the A2HS action consistently.

• Private Browsing, restricted cookies, or Screen Time limits can block sign-in/session storage.

Android (Chrome)

1) Open https://www.revisiondojo.com in Chrome. 2) Wait for the “Install app” prompt or open the menu (⋮) and tap “Install app” (or “Add to Home screen”). 3) Confirm “Install.” An icon appears on your home screen/app drawer. 4) Launch and sign in. Jojo AI, Questionbank, Flashcards, Exam Mode, and Coursework tools are all PWA-ready.

Tips for Android:

• If you don’t see “Install app,” update Chrome, ensure you’re online, and revisit the site.

• Long-press the icon to uninstall or manage notifications/permissions.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

• “Add to Home Screen” is missing on iPhone/iPad

• Use Safari (not in Private mode). Ensure Settings → Safari → “Block All Cookies” is off.

• If managed by your school, MDM or Screen Time may restrict adding web apps—ask your IT admin.

• The PWA doesn’t stay logged in

• Allow cookies and site data; avoid clearing website data between sessions. If you use Private/Incognito, sessions won’t persist.

• How do updates work?

• PWAs auto-update the next time you open them with a network connection. You can force refresh by closing the app card and relaunching.

• Can I receive notifications?

• Availability depends on your device/browser. You can always view assignments, analytics, and feedback inside the app without notifications.

• How do I remove the app?

• iOS: long‑press the icon → Remove App.

• Android: long‑press the icon → Uninstall/Remove.

• For uploaded coursework via the Grader, files are deleted within 48 hours and are not used to train AI models.

Best practices on shared devices:

• Use your own account and log out if using a public device.

• Enable 2FA when available; keep your OS and browser updated.
